Trinidad and Tobago’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Knowlson Gift expressed that his country will be declared the headquarters of the FTAA, Free Trade Area of the Americas.
He said the recent Washington DC stop of his Prime Minister, Patrick Manning and an accompanying team was the culminating point of an extended tour.
Mr. Gift said that the year 2003 ended on a high note in view of the visiting delegation headed by Prime Minister Manning engaging in successful dialogue with foreign partnerships.
OAS Radio spoke with Mr. Knowlson Gift, Trinidad and Tobago’s Foreign Affairs Minister in Port of Spain after he returned from their extended overseas trip.
